Patchwork repair
The repair works commenced with the secure re-fixation of all loose laths through the installation of appropriate screws, ensuring structural stability and preventing any further movement. Following this, all loose, damaged, or detached plaster was meticulously removed to create a sound and stable substrate. The affected areas were then expertly patched and restored using traditional lime plaster, applied in accordance with best conservation practices to achieve a seamless, durable finish that matches the existing historic fabric.
